Chris Rust completed his BA in Economics at the University of Western Ontario and moved to Victoria in 1993. After several years of working in the Capital, Chris started a business in the hospitality industry which grew, over five years to employ 40 staff members and was later purchased by a national competitor in 1998. At this time, Chris transferred his passion for business to the real estate industry where he focused on project marketing, special residential properties and developments as well as commercial sales and leasing. Since 2002, he has been involved in multi-family residential developments and has managed, leased and transacted properties in Courtenay, Parksville, Nanaimo, Duncan and Victoria.

Most recently Chris has joined CBRE's investment team of Lance Coulson and Michael Deighton and is actively working to grow the CBRE brand on Vancouver Island.
