Kim Mercado has overall responsibility for the management and integrity of CB Richard Ellis Limited's statistical information and market analysis. She oversees a full-time team of 35 Researchers across Canada.

Kim is also integral to the CBRE/Torto Wheaton Research Canadian joint initiative, providing invaluable market insight and support to the Boston based econometric forecasting team. In addition, she is asked on occasion to write for various real estate publications and annuals.

Kim began her career at RBC Financial Group in 1994. The majority of her career was spent as an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group where she provided industry and company research and analysis. Participating in all aspects of deal transactions, Kim was involved in the acquisition of US-based Centura Bank and Dain Rauscher, among others.

Kim brings with her the knowledge and experience she gained as the Senior Market Analyst for the Greater Toronto Area with another major brokerage where she provided information and analysis of the commercial real estate office leasing market.
