Roelof van Dijk joined CBRE Limited in 2008 as the National Senior Research Analyst, and has since moved on to become the Research Manager for Canada.  His role includes managing the activities of the Canadian research department as well as overseeing the creation, production and publication of the national market statistics and reports. Roelof collaborates extensively with real estate owners, developers, property managers, municipalities and brokerage professionals to provide comprehensive insight on commercial real estate conditions and trends for CBRE's research clients.

Roelof is integral to the CBRE Econometric Advisors Canadian joint initiative. He is responsible for providing market data for this initiative, along with market insight and support to the Boston based econometric forecasting team.

Roelof began his career in the Financial Services industry in 2000 and worked as an Analyst with ING Group prior to shifting his career focus to Real Estate. Prior to joining CBRE, Roelof worked in Planning and Project Management positions with both a Greater Toronto Area land development firm and the City of Toronto. In these positions he has participated in all aspects of the planning approval process, and has been involved in planning policy analysis, pro forma analysis, as well as highly politically charged residential land development projects.
