Euro-Can Manufacturing Inc.367 Victoria Street, New Hamburg The Challenge Euro-Can Manufacturing required assistance securing a facility for its peat treat processing and warehousing facility. It was critical that the new location be zoned for heavy manufacturing and offer room for expansion. Access to major highways was a logistical necessity. The search for a low cost facility was difficult as the market offered a limited number of suitable properties. The End Result A 112,420 SF industrial building was purchased on 15.12 acres on Highway #7 in New Hamburg. An exceptional purchase price was negotiated given a residual environmental challenge from the previous user of the property. The purchase conditions were satisfied, then a lease transaction was negotiated for the period of time required to obtain a record of site condition and complete the purchase. Euro-can was able to move on time so that the business operations were not disrupted. Euro-Can Manufacturing secured a larger facility than initially required but CBRE was able to find warehouse tenants to lease the space until required by Euro-Can. Euro-Can still has excess land for any future potential growth.
