CBRE’s National Management Team Evolves

Andrew Wright appointed National Industrial Practice Lead

TORONTO, December 9, 2013 CBRE Limited is enhancing its industrial business line and bolstering the company’s National Management Team.  On January 1, 2014, Andrew Wright, current Managing Director of CBRE’s Toronto West Office, will be appointed Industrial Practice Leader for Canada and assume responsibility for all of CBRE’s industrial business nationally. Werner Dietl, one of Canada’s top industrial brokers, will step into the Managing Director role that is being vacated by Wright in CBRE’s Toronto West office.

As Industrial Practice Leader for Canada, Andrew will be charged with aligning, integrating and growing CBRE’s industrial business. Clients from across the country will be able to access to an unprecedented, unified network of industrial intelligence and property offerings. Andrew started his real estate career at Royal LePage in 1986 and moved to Coldwell Banker in 1991.  After a successful career in industrial and investment sales, he became the Managing Director of CBRE’s Toronto West office in 2001. Andrew has been recognized as one of CBRE’s Top 10 Sales Professionals in Canada and is a past recipient of NAIOP’s Community Service Award for his work with the Huntington Society of Canada.

Werner Dietl will transition to assume day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of CBRE’s Toronto West office operations. He will focus on enhancing CBRE’s office, industrial and investment business in the western portion of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Werner Dietl joined CBRE in 1995 and has worked as a researcher, trainee, broker and brokerage team leader during his time with the company. Werner is known for his relentless drive, client focus, work ethic, collaboration across business lines and team play. Over the years, Werner has cemented his position as one of the top industrial brokers in Canada. He exhibits an understanding of commercial real estate market that is respected by his peers at CBRE and in the real estate industry in general.
