Chris Marlyn Joins CBRE to Lead its Valuation & Advisory Services Group in Western Canada

Marlyn joins with over 25 years of valuation expertise

Calgary – May 24, 2017 – CBRE Limited (‘CBRE’) has strengthened its Valuation & Advisory Services (‘VAS’) team in Western Canada with the strategic hire of Chris Marlyn as Senior Managing Director. Chris is a respected valuation industry leader with over 25 years of experience and joins CBRE after two decades with a rival firm, where he led its national VAS group. Based in CBRE’s Calgary office, Chris will lead CBRE’s VAS practice in Western Canada and has a mandate to expand and grow its valuation business across the region.

In his previous role, Marlyn was the driving force in building a valuation service line across Canada, where he established VAS capabilities all the way from Atlantic Canada to Victoria.. Over the past decade, he focused on serving large institutional clients including Brookfield, Bentall Kennedy, Morguard Investments Limited, Artis REIT, RioCan REIT and First Capital Realty.
