Lisa Fulford-Roy joins CBRE to lead its Workplace Strategy efforts in Eastern Canada

Fulford-Roy brings over 20 years of workplace planning and design experience to CBRE

Toronto – July 12, 2016 – CBRE Limited (‘CBRE’) has bolstered its market leadership with the strategic hire of Lisa Fulford-Roy as Managing Director to lead Workplace Strategy initiatives in Eastern Canada. With over 20 years of experience, Lisa joins CBRE from HOK, a global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm, where she supported clients with unique and innovative, business-aligned workplace solutions.

“As a top ranking workplace strategist within the Toronto marketplace, Lisa brings a level of business development, workplace expertise and strategy which is simply unmatched within our industry,” commented Mark Renzoni, President and Chief Executive Officer of CBRE Canada. “We work with companies of varying sizes, industries and business objectives, all requiring a tailored approach to their workplace strategy. Lisa’s extensive experience and profile in this space will greatly benefit our clients and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional workplace solutions.

“Having worked with her closely during her time at HOK, Lisa became a strategic partner in the design and development of our three new GTA offices. So even before she joined, Lisa was already an integral part of the CBRE family. Lisa is well-known and highly regarded in the industry and our ability to provide her services for the exclusive benefit of our clients gives us a real competitive advantage.”

With vast knowledge and understanding of the commercial real estate market, Lisa has been a highly sought after consultant for leading projects across the industry. This new role will leverage Lisa’s expertise and industry relationships and advances CBRE’s Occupier Initiative in the GTA, Canada’s largest real estate market. CBRE’s Occupier Initiative brings together its expertise in Brokerage, Workplace Strategy, Project Management and Business Transition & Move Management into a single unified solution for client’s real estate needs and decisions.

“Lisa’s hire further positions CBRE as the leader in workplace strategies in Canada. Her experiences and expertise will allow us to deliver holistic real estate solutions within an integrated Occupier Solutions practice. What’s even better is any of our clients that visit our new GTA offices will immediately see and experience what Lisa and CBRE can deliver together,” said Lenny Beaudoin, Senior Managing Director, Global Workplace Strategy at CBRE.

“In a highly competitive global landscape, increasingly we are seeing leading organizations seeking to create a workplace atmosphere that attracts and retains top talent. In clients’ journey to achieve this goal, being able to offer a cohesive experience, and deliver services that manage and advise the entire workplace transformation process from beginning to end is a powerful approach that CBRE brings to the table. It’s something I’m incredibly excited to be a part of and build on in my new role,” commented Lisa Fulford-Roy, Managing Director of Workplace Strategy, Eastern Canada at CBRE Canada.

Lisa joins a talented team of Workplace Strategy professionals across CBRE, with Loren Bergmann leading Workplace Strategy efforts in Western Canada.
