In 2016, Ray rejoined CBRE Canada as the National Director of Research for Canada. He is focused on the architecture and development of Canada’s National Research Team and provides market insights and analysis to both internal and external clients.
Ray Wong has an extensive research and operations background having originally joined CBRE in 2000 as the National Director of Research for Canada before transitioning to Managing Director and COO of Americas Research for CBRE from 2007-2015. In this capacity, he was responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day operation of the company's local market research platform across the Americas. Inclusive to these initiatives and responsibilities, Ray has played an integral role in the rollout of the CBRE Econometric Advisors Canadian Outlook.
Ray began his career in 1989, at another major brokerage company as the Research Senior Analyst in Toronto. In 1993, Ray became a Senior Consultant for the Advisory Services Group where he provided information and analysis of the commercial real estate market for various financial institutions and pension funds across Canada.
