Professional Experience
Sarah Segal is a Sales Associate for CBRE Hotels. Sarah’s primary role is to provide clients with hotel and resort acquisition and disposition services in the hospitality arena. Sarah is a team oriented professional who works with senior team members and clients consulting and advising on major investment assignments within Canada and overseas. In 2005, Sarah became a founding member of CBRE Hotels Canada team. CBRE Hotels Canada has built their rankings to become one of the company’s top investment teams. Since December of 2007, CBRE Hotels Canada has successfully negotiated and sold over $200M of hospitality properties.
Prior to joining CBRE Hotels, Ms. Segal was responsible for a wide array of business development initiatives as part of a private equity sales team. Working within the investment sales arena has enabled Ms. Segal to foster relationships with both private equity and institutional players across the country.
An honors graduate of the University of Toronto, Sarah is an active member of various charity and fundraising events. An advocate of giving back, Sarah works to raise awareness and donations for the United Way of Toronto. Sarah has taken on a leadership role within United Way of Toronto and United Way of Toronto's GenNext Group since 2006. Additionally, Sarah sits on the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Real Estate Ride committee. In 2008, Sarah was the recipient of CBRE’s Peter Gordon Crompton Award. As a board member of NAIOP Toronto, Sarah’s involvement has included her in the development of the Developing Leaders (“DL”) program where she currently sits as the 2010 Chair.For more information on CBRE Hotels, please click here.
