Professional Experience
John Fisher specializes in Office Brokerage Services including Tenant Representation, Landlord Representation, and Lease Negotiations. Since 2005, he has partnered with Stuart Watson and more recently Rachel Carter to form the Calgary Suburban Office Team. The Team has been responsible for over 400 lease transactions totaling over 1.7Million square feet in leased space in the City of Calgary within the last seven years.
In addition to leasing, John is active in transacting land purchases, owner/user buildings and small investment properties. John is a member of CBRE Canada’s Private Capital Network, a specialty group formed within CBRE with the core focus of providing exceptional value to private investors through best practices and industry-leading customer service.
John currently holds the designation of Associate Vice President at CBRE Calgary. His progression has been in large part a result of his commitment to self-improvement, education, customer service and integrity.
John has been a frequent moderator, panelist and public speaker in the Calgary commercial real estate community. He has spoken as a market expert at several National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) member meetings added commentary to the BOMA Building guide and, guest lectured in the “Advanced Finance in Real Estate Development” and “Real Estate Marketing” courses at the University of Calgary Real Estate Development Program.
