    WINNIPEG OUTLOOK:
    Despite global economic turmoil, the manufacturing sector is expected to expand in Manitoba for the first time since 2008, which will benefit Winnipeg specifically. Bus manufacturer, New Flyer, and aerospace manufacturer, Boeing, have a backlog of orders, while wholesale and retail trade also experienced strong growth this year. The transportation and warehousing sectors grew by over 2.0% in 2012, and this trend should continue in 2013 as Winnipeg continues to position itself as distribution hub for Central Canada. A growing population and strong employment trend will support commercial real estate fundamentals in 2013.

Office description

The Winnipeg office was established in 1984 by Marcel Chartier and operated as Chartier & Associates Inc. until 2002. In January 2002, our office joined forces with CBRE and now operates as CB Richard Ellis Chartier & Associates.

Our office currently employs approximately 20 professionals and support personnel and provides services in several commercial real estate specialties including; investment sales, office leasing, industrial sales and leasing, apartment sales, development services, retail sales and leasing, hotel sales, and corporate services.

The Winnipeg office is located on the second floor of the Chartier Centre, at 570 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. This central location encompasses all aspects of the commercial real estate industry, including services such as property management and project management, architectural interior design, architectural development and property and building insurance.​
