Tom Cahill is a Senior Sales Associate for CBRE. He is based in our Waterloo Region Office located in Kitchener, Ontario. Tom joined CBRE in 1990, beginning his real estate career in the resource department in the Toronto West Office. Tom's dedicated work ethic and persistance has allowed him to assist his clients in every level of real estate. Tom is a proven negotiator and problem solver.

Tom has completed the sale/leasing of Industrial Properties in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Stratford and throughout Southwestern Ontario.

Prior to joining CBRE, Tom was an accomplished member of the New Home Builder Association of Ontario, completing the constructional sale of new homes in Kitchener.

Tom and his family, wife Joanne and children Matthew and Mya, reside in Kitchener, Ontario.

CBRE Special Properties Group (SPG)

Tom Cahill has been designated as a member of the CBRE Special Properties Group. The SPG works primarily with properties 100,000 sq. ft. and larger, or which employ 50 or more people. Properties such as these are identified and routinely tracked within the Group. Through a specialized database and strategic relationships with government officials, the Special Properties Group also has the ability to track demographic information, as well as tax and labor rates.

The benefits clients obtain through working with the SPG are, Maximum Exposure and Presence through properties marketed to the broader CBRE network, as well as reliable Accountability to our clients as we ensure one or more of our members will always be in attendance at building showings.

Tom attended the Fall 2009 SPG conference in Las Vegas. This was the 20th Anniversary of the Special Properties Group. Topics at the conference included: Automotive Initiatives, Manufacturing Sector Opportunities and U.S / Canadian Industrial market reports.
