CBRE Announces New Canada CEO, Werner Dietl

Mark Renzoni To Step Down after 30 Years with the Company

CBRE today announced that Mark Renzoni, President & CEO of CBRE Canada, will step down at the end of the year and Werner Dietl will succeed Mr. Renzoni as leader of the Canadian business effective January 1, 2019.

Mr. Dietl, who currently leads CBRE's Greater Toronto Area businesses, began his career as an industrial broker with CBRE in 1995. He transitioned to the leadership team in 2014.

"Mark has been a great leader for our business in Canada. He has led us to strong growth and exceptional client service, and been a mentor and advocate for our next generation of leaders," said Mike Lafitte, CBRE's Global CEO, Advisory Services.

Mr. Lafitte continued: "Werner has a deep understanding of the real estate services industry and is a champion of CBRE's culture and people. He will be an outstanding leader for our Canadian business, who will build on our success as the market leader across the country."

Mr. Renzoni began his career at CBRE in 1988 and became CEO in 2013. Mr. Renzoni delivered strong growth, and engineered significant changes to the company’s platform, workplace facilities and leadership team.

Mr. Renzoni will remain a Director of CBRE Canada through 2019.
