Carmin Di Fiore is Executive Vice President of CBRE's Debt and Structured Finance team.
Before joining CBRE, Carmin established Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Toronto office, creating a multi-billion dollar institutional debt and derivative portfolio involving construction, acquisition, repositioning and structured term financing. Prior to that, Carmin held various positions in the Canadian banking industry in real estate finance in various cycles which has provided him with a solid understanding of market drivers, debt origination and restructuring, corporate finance, risk and portfolio management. Carmin has worked very closely with REITs, RECOs, pension funds, fund advisers and large private developers in facilitating both Canadian and U.S. financing requirements, and has spoken frequently at numerous industry events.
