Jean-Philippe Picard is the Managing Director for Project Management services in Western Canada at CBRE. Mr. Picard has over 20 years of engineering and project management expertise spanning a wide spectrum of project types including commercial, institutional, retail, industrial, and municipal projects. He has significant experience representing owners in facility construction projects having delivered over $2B in capital construction projects. In this capacity, Mr. Picard works with owners using a pragmatic approach to define their requirements, implement the right design solution, and select the appropriate construction strategies with the aim of providing a long lasting and cost effective solution to their real estate needs. Mr. Picard endeavors to integrate environmentally sustainable elements such as LEED or WELL in all his projects. Marquee projects that he has been involved with include TELUS Garden in Vancouver, the Calgary Farmers’ Market in Calgary, as well as the Speed Skating Oval for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
As the Managing Director, Mr. Picard provides executive leadership on local projects and programs, and manages the operations for the Western Region. Additionally, he is responsible for business development as well as developing and maintaining client relationships. He has demonstrated great success in growing CBRE's Western market, and in meeting client needs.
