Her career started in Boston, Maine where she worked as an urban planner in both the public and private sectors. She pivoted briefly to academia as a researcher, before returning to her passion for city building and real estate as a research analyst for a commercial brokerage covering markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Moving to Canada in 2010, Ruth joined CBRE as a real estate management consultant, working primarily as an embedded strategist for a Big Five Bank. In 2015, she founded and led CBRE Canada’s Client Solutions team, a group of in-house business development and pursuit experts. As a centralized point of contact for senior leadership from all business lines, Ruth combined CBRE’s platform and local market expertise to develop strategic real estate recommendations for occupier and investor clients. In 2019, she launched CBRE’s Canadian Client Care program to offer enhanced and consistent service to investor leasing clients across the country.
