Ryan Tran*

Ryan Tran is a Vice President with CBRE’s National Alternative Assets group based in the Toronto office. Ryan focuses on investment sales activities throughout Canada, across all verticals encompassing hotels & resorts, senior living and student housing. He uses his strong analytical and operating real estate experience in managing the full marketing process, to deliver results for clients.

Prior to joining CBRE’s Hotel group, Ryan spent five years with JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group where he was involved in the sale of over $4.8 billion in hotel transactions across Canada, including the strategic sale of the Four Seasons Toronto and a 25-hotel national portfolio. Ryan was previously with FRHI Hotels & Resorts in Corporate Development and Strategy, responsible for executing the global strategic planning process and evaluating investment opportunities through JVs and M&A transactions. At Delta Hotels & Resorts, Ryan had experience in asset management and the strategic acquisition and development of hotels in Canada for the owner bcIMC, as well, was a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, responsible for revamping the brand and led to the acquisition of Delta by Marriott International. Ryan began his career with Ernst & Young, where he advised commercial real estate clients with diverse portfolios across North America.

Ryan graduated from Schulich School of Business at York University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant. He is a member of the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB), the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).
