Michael Dean

Michael has worked in the Commercial Real Estate industry for 16 years. He joined CBRE in June of 2007 first supporting the Royal Bank of Canada account as the National Facilities and Operations Manager with the over sight of RBC’s Canadian Retail Banking properties. In 2012, Michael was promoted to Senior Director of Facilities Management and Engineering Services for all of RBC North American properties, including Corporate Offices, Retail Bank Branches and Critical Environments.

March 2015 Michael joined the IBM Canada Account as Director of Facilities Management and Site Operations, managing IBM’s Canadian Corporate Office space. The portfolio covers approximately 5 MSF and 100+ locations. Michael’s team includes Engineering Services, Security Management, Building Operations and FM supporting staff.

Previously to CBRE, he held the position of Director of Marketing and Operations with the retail organization, Licks Restaurants, comprising of 24 restaurants and 600+ Grocery Store outlets and annual Revenue of $40+ million.

Michael’s personal life involves biking, rowing, windsurfing and summer time fun at his Family Muskoka cottage. For the winter most of his time is spent watching & driving his daughter & son play rep hockey.
