Brett oversees all leasing and marketing functions in Asset Services across a broad portfolio of industrial, retail and office properties owned by third party clients (11+ MSF).
His primary focus is on renewals, listing of vacant space, co-ordination of sublease approvals, tenant co-ordination, negotiations and management of the brokers representing each of his clients to support his client’s overall objectives. Brett has managed to negotiate over 160 lease transactions since joining CBRE in excess of 3,000,000 square feet of office and industrial properties.
Before joining CBRE, Brett was a National Leasing Specialist at IBM Canada Ltd. from February, 2006 to March, 2014. He was responsible for transaction management and strategic planning of IBM’s portfolio of 6 MSF of office and industrial properties across Canada and the Caribbean.
Prior to joining IBM, Brett was a corporate real estate advisor for Avison Young and Royal LePage Commercial, focusing on office leasing in the west end of the Greater Toronto Area.
