He focuses on the disposition and valuation of grocery-anchored plazas, necessity-based retail centres, and mixed-use assets, advising private investors, REITs, and institutional owners on strategies to maximize value and liquidity. Brett is actively involved in retail property sales in Toronto and across Ontario, with a particular emphasis on assets anchored by leading national tenants including grocery, pharmacy, and daily-needs retailers.
Brett plays a lead role throughout the transaction lifecycle, including underwriting, pricing strategy, market positioning, and execution, combining real-time market data, investor targeting, and competitive bidding processes to drive premium outcomes. His approach is highly data-driven and execution-focused, designed to generate depth of demand and compress cap rates.
Working within one of Canada’s leading retail investment teams, Brett collaborates with clients on single-asset dispositions, portfolio sales, and programmatic initiatives, including identifying severance opportunities, outparcel strategies, and value-add repositioning opportunities for large-format retail portfolios.
He brings a strong understanding of tenant covenant strength, lease structures, and capital markets dynamics, allowing him to provide clear, actionable advice on timing, pricing, and buyer positioning. Brett is known for delivering practical strategies that align with investor demand and evolving retail fundamentals across the Ontario market.
