Chris Martins serves as Business Unit Director for CBRE’s AMS Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Local, Canada Business Unit. In this capacity, he provides strategic leadership across the business, driving operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth. Chris oversees a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering integrated facilities management and technical services solutions across a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, and mission-critical clients throughout Canada.
With more than 18 years of experience in building systems design, operations, and lifecycle management, Chris brings a strong technical foundation and a collaborative leadership approach to his role. He is accountable for P&L performance, governance, and client satisfaction while fostering innovation in energy efficiency, maintenance strategies, and workplace performance.
Prior to his current position, Chris served as Director, Business & Technical Solutions for ACML, where he led national project management and engineering initiatives, delivering lifecycle asset planning, energy optimization, and compliance programs for large-scale facilities. His work supported client success across sectors including life sciences, healthcare, data centers, and cultural institutions.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
Chris has over 18 years of experience in the building and facilities management industry and is based in Toronto, Ontario.
