Jim Ward is President of CBRE Capital and Head of Debt & Structured Finance Canada. He is a member of CBRE Canada’s Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for directing the continued growth of CBRE Capital and its services.
Jim is a highly respected leader in Canadian real estate finance, with an exceptional track record of building successful teams and driving significant growth. He was most recently engaged at QuadReal, where, as Managing Director of Canadian Real Estate Debt, he and his team more than doubled their Canadian debt portfolio. Prior to this, Jim held senior leadership roles at Wells Fargo Bank, CIBC, Redcliff Realty, and Merrill Lynch. He has a proven history of being a top originator and innovator in the real estate finance sector.
CBRE Capital is an increasingly important differentiator for Canadian businesses and investors looking to strategize, structure and execute best-in-class financing solutions. The business is responsible for arranging over $5.0 billion of debt per year. As a CMHC approved lender, CBRE Capital is also originating, funding, and servicing loans in the multifamily sector.
