Martha Tredgett is a Senior Managing Director in the Toronto office and leads CBRE Investment Banking in Canada. Ms. Tredgett joined CBRE in 2023 when they acquired Sera Global (formerly Brookfield Financial) and brings more than three decades of experience in capital advisory, investment banking and business development. Her concentration has been on capital development and private markets throughout North America and with global sovereign investors. CBRE Investment Banking offers global clients strategic advisory on public & private capital, Asset Manager M&A and secondary market liquidity solutions, across all sectors of real assets.
Previously, Ms. Tredgett spearheaded capital development for a global investment firm based in Switzerland, building out their North American footprint. Prior to that, Ms. Tredgett was a Partner at Crane Capital, a capital advisory boutique which was successfully sold to Bear Stearns in 2007, eventually becoming a Managing Director at JP Morgan. Ms. Tredgett began her career on Wall Street, working for CS First Boston and Union Bank of Switzerland in London, Paris and New York, where she focused on institutional investors in public markets and structured transactions.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in Montreal and a D Business Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) serving on the program committee. Philanthropically, Martha serves on the Investment Committees of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and the Toronto Community Housing Corporation.
