Nicholas Tan graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Accounting. An interest for real estate pushed him into the direction of appraisal and he has worked in the industry, first as a residential appraiser before join Ryan ULC (Formerly Burgess Cawley Sullivan & Associates), one of the leading appraisal and tax firms in Vancouver.
Nicholas has undertaken a wide array of market research and analysis, in addition to being involved in a collection of engagements relating to commercial and residential properties. Nicholas primarily works with commercial and multi-family development land, income producing properties primarily relating to office in both urban and suburban centres, and multi-phase, mixed-use master planned communities.
Nicholas has also been active in the property tax review process, having represented property owners at various assessment hearings.
