Associated Office
Todd Cooney is Senior Vice President and Broker in the Waterloo Region office for CBRE Limited. Todd specializes in the office leasing and sales market, focusing on representing tenants in office relocations, lease restructurings, multi office consolidations, and renewals and expansions.
Since joining CBRE, Todd has played a significant role in the augmented successes of CBRE's Office and Investment Divisions in the Waterloo Region. Todd's career has included many notable accomplishments and continues to be one of the firms top performing brokers in the Waterloo Region.

With a diverse background in real estate development, investment, financing and construction, Todd brings a unique perspective to the brokerage business and the ability to customize solutions for each client's specific needs. Todd works on a team consisting of Dean Mariani (Sales Representative) and Hannah Bender (Real Estate Services Coordinator, Sales Representative). He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations in order to get our deal done. We are extremely excited about our new location in Cambridge which we wouldn’t have found without CBRE.
When I decided to grow my hockey training business at the end of 2006, I called CBRE and was immediately connected with Mike Black. Finding a suitable space that can house a 110’ x 50’ hockey rink is not an easy task, however Mike took every opportunity to learn more about my business including touring my existing facility to get an understanding of what a "training rink" is and how it fits into an existing industrial building. Mike promptly provided me with a list of existing properties for sale and lease and continued with regular updates almost daily, something I felt was very important. The staff at CBRE including Dietmar Sommerfeld and Todd Cooney are extremely knowledgeable on all properties and the market within the KW Region and surrounding areas. After numerous tours and meetings, Mike found the perfect space at 483 Conestogo Road. The professionalism that is possessed by all staff and the hard working manner they conduct business was the major reason we got the deal done on the Conestogo Road property and allowed me to expand my business to almost four times the size.
