Since joining CBRE in 2010, Brendan Sullivan has been directly involved in providing strategic commercial real estate consultation, with a strong focus on occupier and agency office lease contracts. Throughout his career, Brendan has represented tenants and landlords in over 1,850 lease agreements, amounting to a total value of more than $2 billion. Brendan successfully services the needs of regional, national, and international clients, offering industry-leading consultation across a variety of commercial real estate scenarios.
As the leader of the Toronto Leasing Group (TLG), Brendan works alongside his partners—Alex Bowman, William Dejonge-Ward, and Jennifer Gault—focusing on Agency Leasing, Occupier Leasing, and Property Marketing. Since 2019, he has advised clients on over 2 million square feet of lease contracts, participated in the development of six office and mixed-use towers, and contributed to the sale of five office buildings. Additionally, Brendan heads the Canadian Investor Leasing platform for CBRE.
Brendan's expertise as a leader within the Toronto market has been recognized by both clients and peers. He has earned several industry accolades, including the SIOR Broker of the Year (2021), CBRE’s and Advisor of the Year Award (2024) and Broker Choice Award (2014, 2016, 2021) CoStar Power Broker (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022), and the NAIOP Developing Leader (2017). In 2023, Brendan became the lead of Investor Leasing, Canada at CBRE.
Brendan serves on the NAIOP Toronto Chapter Board of Directors a role he has held since 2022 and is the chair of the NAIOP CRE Converge Conference 2025, to be held in Toronto. Brendan leads The Sullivan Family Foundation supporting the charities that have directly impacted his family. He served as the chair for the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes for 10 years, helping raise over $5 million for diabetes research, an effort that earned him the Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award in 2019.
Brendan holds dual degrees from the School of Business at Kansas State University and holds professional designations from TREB, OREA, and CREA.
